A ten-week summer intensive for writers in the middle of their books. From June 17 through August 26, 2026, Nikkya Hargrove — author of Mama (Algonquin Books, 2024) and 2025 Lambda Literary Award Finalist — leads a cohort of memoirists, narrative nonfiction writers, and auto-fiction writers in a workshop unlike any other on the market. Drawing on embodied memory work, community-rooted accountability, and her own path from Lambda Fellow to published author, Nikkya helps writers strengthen manuscripts they're already drafting — and build the writing life that sustains the work after the cohort ends.
